Carrying your Steam Deck without a case is a bold move. Not the good kind of bold either—the “why is my joystick clicking funny now” kind. I’ve seen enough scratched screens and mystery stick drift to know that a decent case isn’t optional. It's armor. And right now, a bunch of great ones are discounted during the Amazon Big Spring Sale.

I’ve tested all of these. I don’t mess around when it comes to gear that protects my portable gaming life. Some of these are slim and tough, others are built like travel tanks, and one even looks like it could survive a drop-kick from a particularly vengeful toddler. If your Deck is still riding raw in your backpack, these deals are your cue to stop living dangerously. Here's the deals on some of the best Steam Deck cases in the sale at a glance, and alonside a full breakdown as well.

JSAUX Sling Bag for Steam Deck

JSAUX Sling Bag

$33.99 (was $39.99)

This is my go-to for weekend trips and airport hauls. It fits the Steam Deck (or ROG Ally), the dock, a charger, a power bank, your phone, your shame—whatever. Everything has its own little pocket, so nothing bounces around inside. It’s got a hard EVA shell for protection, and a crossbody anti-slosh strap that keeps it close while moving. It looks slick and doesn’t scream “I’m carrying $800 worth of gaming tech in here.”

JSAUX Carrying Case

JSAUX Carrying Case

$22.09 (was $25.99)

This one’s more compact but still manages to pack in space for the Deck, charger, dock, headphones, and even throws in a bonus SD card holder. It’s a proper travel buddy for people who don’t want to lug a whole satchel. Inside, everything’s neatly strapped down with velcro and padding that doesn’t feel cheap. You can toss it in your backpack and not worry about your gear rattling around like dice in a Yahtzee cup.

JSAUX 2-Pack Anti Glare Screen Protector

JSAUX Screen Protectors (2-Pack)

$12.74 (was $14.99)

If your Deck’s screen isn’t protected, I assume you enjoy danger. These tempered glass protectors install with a guide frame (bless you, JSAUX) and don’t mess with touchscreen clarity or responsiveness. They’re reinforced, fingerprint-resistant, and actually survive more abuse than I’d care to admit. Bonus: you get two, so you can mess up the first one stress-free. Not that you will. Probably.

tomtoc Armor Case for Steam Deck/OLED

Tomtoc Armor Case

$23.99 (was $29.99)

This is the “don’t even look at my Steam Deck the wrong way” case. It’s made from German polycarbonate, passes military drop tests, and still manages to be sleek and lightweight. It’s got molded joystick protection built right into the shell, and a cutout that lets you charge the Deck without taking it out. The latch is solid too. If you’re clumsy, paranoid, or just love overkill-level durability, this is your match.

JSAUX PC0104 ModCase on a white background

JSAUX ModCase isn’t just a cover, it’s a full modular system. You get a detachable front shell for screen safety, a sturdy body wrap made of PC-ABS and silicone for shock absorption, a metal kickstand, and even a strap system that lets you mount other accessories. The fit is precise, the material feels premium, and the modularity makes it feel like you’re customizing a mini mech.
